SUITABLE FROM 14 WEEKS TO FULL TERM (AND BEYOND!)
Pregnancy yoga is amazing way for you to gently exercise and support yourself mentally and emotionally for the duration of your pregnancy journey. It can help alleviate a range of common pregnancy complaints such as pelvic girdle pain, upper and lower back pain, and tight necks and shoulders. It gives also gives you to be the opportunity to relax and connect with your baby away from the day to day stresses of work and family life.
Pregnancy is an exciting time but it can also be a time of anxiety and stress, especially if your journey to pregnancy hasn't been straight forward. In class we practice a range of breathing and relaxation techniques which can help calm anxious episodes and are a great way to start preparing for birth.
Crucially it also gives you the opportunity to meet and form friendships with other expectant parents. Both the class itself and the what's app group provide a safe space for you to ask questions, swap advice and tips, and know that you are not alone in your experiences.
